Charlotte-area movie theaters will once again show live Metropolitan Opera performances, starting with Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette at 1 p.m. on Dec. 15. Tickets go on sale Friday. The Met’s 2007-2008 series of high-definition transmissions, will be shown at Stonecrest at Piper Glen Stadium 22 and at AMC Concord Mills 24, theaters that filled to near-capacity last year when The Met inaugurated the partnership with movie theaters around the country.
We have a plan to go see two shows. We were able to see one show live (La Bohème) during our time in NY/NJ. Click here and here for more information.
UPDATE: This morning I was able to secure 2 seats for the following shows: Romeo et Juliette and Macbeth.
