“everyone to the table to eat”
Those are the words of Lidia Nonna Rosa. We’ve been watching Lidia’s Italy on PBS for the last several weeks. It’s a great show, and I highly recommend you watch as it combines cooking and travel and great food. Lidia is fun to watch as she hardly gives you specifics. We watched her make Italian goulash a few weeks ago and replicated it for some friends of ours. Overall it was a great success! The bread I made, a Hungarian Pusstabrot, went really well with the goulash. I tend to think it was the fennel seeds that provided the great flavor. We’ve already made another 2 loaves. A good hearty bread.
