Jaars : Sunday night

We’ve just finished up our orientation and have settled back into our room with our *BINDERS*! It’s like the first day of school…after the Vespers service where we got an update on the Jesus film newly recorded for a people group in Panama, we had group introductions, a pizza dinner, and an overview of the week along with some very fun stories from our head teacher’s years in the mission field. It’s going to be an exciting week…I’ve already sneaked a peek at the translation exercises for tomorrow morning and cannot wait. Somewhere, one of my old linguistics profs is wondering why I did not exhibit the same enthusiasm for this type of material in college. Definitely looks like we will stay extremely busy while we are here, but I think it will be such a different kind of busy-ness that it will be a refreshing change from the “usual busy-ness”.

On a grammatical note, I wanted to use “business” instead of “busy-ness” and I was pretty sure that was incorrect. Busyness without the dash likewise seemed right out. I’m open to suggestions on this one, Word Pals!
