my bad day
I’m wrapping up a project management class and all I need to do is take my final. You would think that would be a simple process. Well I have found a new proctor that is closer to my folks house and decided that would be the best option. That was last October when I got them to agree to proctor my exam. Ever since then I have blown through 5 classes with online finals. This class has been my first with an actual proctored exam in quite some time.
My mistake was thinking that everything would run smooth as silk. I submitted the required forms with school to take my final this week. I setup someone to look after William for 3 hours so that this could happen. I called the proctor to setup the time. That is when I got the news that I need to schedule the exam a week out before taking it. Gr. Second, that I would need to have a library card (yes, this proctor is a library). Grr. Third, I would need to fill out paperwork in present before they would schedule my exam. Grrr.
Fortunately I was able to talk them into scheduling the exam over the phone and fill out the paperwork in present the day of the test. I didn’t feel much better though.
The hoops one must jump through. You would think my PM class would be Performance Management and not Project Management.
