sports update fix
Last night at global cafe I was asked which NBA star I liked the best. Now that was an interesting question because I haven’t followed the NBA for years. I do pick up on stories on how there are brawls on the court that somehow end up in the stands. I thought for a moment about the Nets in New Jersey, the last time I followed an NBA team and thew out the name: Jason Kidd.
I then read this morning about my bad choice. Can I have a do-over? Who should I have picked?
While I’m on the subject I will make a somewhat effort to watch a few races this year. My new favorite is Montoya. Nascar? Only because my son is in love with cars.
Also this week pitchers and catchers are at work down in Tampa. I’m following the contract of Mo very closely. Posada needs to be extended ONE year with a part-time play with what that the team needs to make some trades to find a future all-star catcher in the minors and bring him on board in 2008. Would/Should a Melky trade happen? No way! The team has an abundance of pitchers in the minors.
