oh come on now…
It is ever so often I find myself disagreeing with Tim Challies. Today’s a la Carte is too much:
Technology: This guy nicely sums up my feelings about Macs. “Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.”
Yet year after year Microsoft is too busy playing catch up with Mac OS X that they put out a faulty product that requires what seems like weekly service packs and updates. “Scaredy cats” ?? Puh-leeze! Mac OS X is built upon UNIX — and that alone is reason not to go any further on debunking that myth. What you really have is good great programmers with a vision and the GUTS to go there while at the same time the folks in the PC camp are playing catch up (again I say that) and will just never get there…at least in my lifetime.
