International Day Of Prayer For Persecuted Church on Nov. 12th
This Sunday marks the date specified for prayer for the persecuted church. I believe it would be best to prepare our hearts for Sunday ahead of time by understanding what our brothers and sisters in Christ are going through in restricted nations. I would also like to take this opportunity to list a few countries that we care specifically for, and how you can specifically pray for them on Sunday. Thank you.
- Pray for a stable, democratic government in Iraq that respects the rights of all Iraqis.
- Pray for protection for Christians during this time of upheaval and danger.
- Pray for ministry opportunities for churches and Christian relief organizations working in Iraq.
- Pray for spiritual and physical strength for the thousands of Christians in prison for their faith in China.
- Pray for boldness for Christians in sharing the Gospel, despite the dangers that they face.
- Pray that international governments will hold China accountable for its abhorrent record of human rights.
- Pray for peace and strength for Christians facing opposition from Muslims in Nigeria.
- Pray that Christians will demonstrate the love of Christ, in spite of the opposition that they face.
- Pray that one law, with equality for all, will govern the nation of Nigeria
