what on Earth Hour?
On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in their local time zone. On this day, cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Chicago, Melbourne, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, will hold events to acknowledge their commitment to energy conservation.

On the homestead
I’m feeling very domestic, now that we’re settling into the family as a foursome routine a bit. So far this week, I have done the following not-so-typical for me things that usually get pre-empted by considerably less fun work stuff:

A few weeks before Rachel’s arrival I came down with a bad cough, didn’t last but about a week, but I felt like I was getting that dreaded flu bug going around. It never did manifest itself into its “full-blown” state however. It was a few days before Rachel’s arrival that Jessica came down with the same thing, again, never showing its true ugly head.
