Taggeded
Thanks to Michael for saving me half of the taggy fun…here are four factlets about me that you may not know:
- My favorite book when I was the age Will is now was Pat the Bunny
- I used to want a pet duck billed platypus (thanks to Mr. Rogers’ playtpus family) until I learned they have that poisonous fang thing on their feet, and then I decided to be happy with cats because they can...
tagged
Since we were tagged as a family - I’ve listed four little factoids about me, and I’m sure Jesa will give her four later…when she decides to rejoin us.
The rules are: Each person tagged lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts...
a dilemma that I'm familiar with
“I told my wife I wanted to come back a little earlier than what we had planned so I could see the finale of “Lost” on Wednesday night,” Montoya said. “She didn’t appreciate that too much.”“She said, ‘What do you want to do that for? You don’t want to be with me?’ I said ‘Yes, but it’s the “Lost” finale...

sniff...bread? or flowers?
We left the house this morning to run a few errands.
There was a strange (almost sweet) smell in the air.
William says, “What’s that smell?”
I said, “hmmm, I’m not sure buddy…what does it smell like to you?”
William responds, “It smells like bread.”
“Bread? I don’t think it smells like bread.” I then look over at our...
debate update
Thought I would share this email. When you read “open air” keep in mind that Ray Comfort is an open air preacher.
Just a quick note to let you know that the debate went wonderfully. When I say “wonderfully,” I have to qualify it. It was like an open air with an unreasonable and loud heckler. The “heckler” in this case wasn’t just the two atheists we...
what proof?
This week Ray Comfort will confront two atheists to a debate about whether God exists. Ray says that he will do so without a Bible and will not talk about faith. I’ve even seen it mentioned that he will prove that atheists don’t exist! This debate will be broadcast on ABC on May 9th.
Now I’ve seen flapping in the Christian blogosphere that takes issue with his approach. Some...
depressing
Obi-Wang had a perfect game going into the 8th against the Mariners today. Gave up a home run with 5 more batters to face.
At least he didn’t give up a hit in the 9th with 2 outs against your bitter rival.
Still sad. Go ahead, console me.
Our day in Columbia
I went down to Columbia, SC today with Rob for a Christianity Explored conference. It was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia. We thought the conference started at 9:30, but in fact it was at 9:15. We were late, but I blame a marathon race that blocked alot of the streets in and around the church.
We were fortunate to sit at a great table, and there were lots of interaction. We...

We know and appreciate very much your heart for us.
Brothers and sisters, in the last ten days we have experienced very painful...
D-Link Routers : bad, bad, bad
Several months ago we received a tip that if we were ever in the market for a new router then pick D-Link. This tip was from a good resourceful techie friend of mine, so when our Linksys Router went out on us, it was only a few days later I was at the local shop to purchase a D-Link router.
We went with the DIR-625 model and it just never did work from the start. One of the things we...
fasting
For the entire month of May.
No, not food — but that is a piece.
Unwilling to share much more than that as it is between Jessica, myself and the Lord. But we, as always, are very much thankful for your prayers for our family.
